"Our (six adults) stay in Homosassa was everything we expected and more. The home was well-kept, clean, and spacious. The kitchen was supplied with everything you need for meals. The pool was a large and nice area for relaxing. We especially liked the screened outside patio, which included plenty of seating and a dining area. The beds were very comfortable, and each bedroom had a nice-sized television. The game room was a nice bonus. I particularly enjoyed the fishing dock. Bringing portable chairs to set up there for fishing is a good idea. The location was perfect for us, close to Freedom Boat Club, Homosassa Springs Park, and MacRae's dockside. We were close enough to pick up what you needed from a grocery store but still felt like we were surrounded by nature. The host was very accommodating and easy to reach for any questions."

"This cute cottage was everything we hoped for and more! Our favorite part was watching the sea otters swim by. They have kayaks that we used to paddle down Margarita Grill. We docked the kayaks and ate at the restaurant. On the way we saw manatee, turtles, fish, and so many birds. We also saw the emu and llamas at Emu Island. There's also fishing poles you can use. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals except for the food. There's a grill outside, coffee maker with k cups and creamer, and cold bottles of water in the refrigerator. The wifi and Roku worked great! We could tell that the owners put a lot work into making this place a comfortable, memorable, enjoyable, worry-free, holiday oasis. The location and extra amenities make it an incredible value! We will definitely be back! "

"Stayed here the week of April 13, 2026 with my wife and two dogs. Location of the house is great. Multiple restaurants located within a 5 minutes drive, or if you want to boat to them it takes around 30 minutes. This section of the river is a manatee zone so it is idle speed only. House was stocked better than any I have ever stayed in, and we have been using VRBO for years so that is saying something. The owners left us a basket of snacks, and there was a jar of treats for the dogs. There was a coffee station set up with a Keurig, and there was syrups, coffee pods, and sweeteners provided. We had our boat with us so we made very good use of the dock that is part of the property. The dock has electricity so I was able to keep my batteries charged on the boat. Communication with the owners was great also. I can't wait to stay here again."

"Great stay on the Homosassa River! The house was very clean, had plenty of room for our boat, and was in a perfect location close to the springs. It was decorated just right for a river home and had a great vibe. The host was excellent—very responsive and easy to work with. We’d definitely stay here again!"
