Amazing Lake House

This is an amazing house and property right on the lake. We stayed in the winter so while it was cold and rainy out, we were warm and cozy inside. The house has plenty of amenities to keep everyone happy.

Perfect Setting

Absolutely beautiful views of Lake Cushman— We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin just south of Olympic National park. The cabin was clean, the kitchen was nicely set up, the furnishings were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Fun lake house

A wonderful lake house with easy access to lake. The layout is nice with the master on the main leval and the other bedrooms downstairs with a play area for the kids. We enjoyed hanging out down on the lake patio. Will definitely be back!

Heaven on earth

To answer the question up front; Yes, this place looks exactly like the pictures. The home is beautiful and spacious, felt like home for the week we stayed there. The view is absolutely TO DIE FOR and the lake front is perfection. We spent plenty of time hiking and exploring but beyond that we were able to relax and rest in the beauty of this property. 10 out 10 would recommend.

Family Vacation

The house location on the hill gave the most amazing view of the lake and the mountains. Having kayaks provided was very nice, the lake level was too low to get any of the boats launched. We had a great time and hope to return again next year. Cleaning company needs to do a better job inside and out.

Gorgeous Property!

What an amazing, beautiful home with expansive views of the lake and mountains. We loved the decks and dock for enjoying the sun, swimming, and kayaking. Super comfortable beds and a kitchen to die for. Our only issue was difficulty reaching a real local person as property manager with Vacasa to resolve an urgent housekeeping problem. After we checked out, we got a phone call and they refunded our housekeeping fee as we requested. Would love to stay here again!

Olympic park and local sites

The house properties and views are AMAZING! Beds were very comfortable. For us visiting from the east coast it would be nice to not have a time click on the hot water heater. Batteries need to be checked on thermastats and remotes. Filter maintenance light came on while were there. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again.

Remote Relaxation

The Woodstone Cabin is a lovely and comfortable place for families to stay on Lake Cushman. It's a bit tricky to find at first (turn before you think you need to, look for the wooden signs on the right to get to the access road) but it's very easy to access, super clean and comfortable. We had no cell reception out there but the wifi works great. The views from the home are absolutely stunning, and the walk down to the water is landscaped, so you can get to the beach pretty easily. We had two small children in tow and it was great for them. The house was well-stocked and had everything we needed. So many hikes for people of all abilities are nearby. We had a good time looking for mushrooms in the forests and salmon in the nearby streams. It was a dreamy trip!

wonderful views

The house was clean, well stocked, and had a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains beyond. We were 2 couples and one spouse of each couple has a hard time navigating stairs so you should be made aware that this is 2 stories. Secondly the property is very hard to find and I drove by it twice before a neighbor was kind enough to show me the driveway (he has had to do this numerous times because the address is really hard to see ) so I would suggest to the owner that you make the address easier to see by using white numbers that can be seen. All in all, if you are O.K. with stairs this is a wonderful home and I wish I had found it when I was able to climb stairs.

Relaxing weekend

The home is great! Lots of room and the kitchen is beautiful. The view is breathtaking as always. I have stayed at a few cabins at Lake Cushman and this one has the best views and it faces west. The kayaks were a big hit this weekend. An excellent way to experience the magic of the Olympics. About the house, great wifi, beds comfy, clean bathrooms, easy to log into your own Netflix. I think the water has some kind of sediment in it, it tasted bad and the dishwasher looks like it has dirt in it, even directly after running it, the dishes came out clean for the most part. Definitely bring bottled water to drink. We could not find any foil, plastic wrap, ziplock bags, etc. to cover food. I would highly recommend bringing some if you plan to cook here. Follow the directions to the house for sure, it can be tricky if you are not watching for that gravel road to the right. Overall, we had a great time and would love to come back again next year. I would go back for that view alone.

Wonderful lake house

What a wonderful house and lake! The house had a fully stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable beds, and lots of toys/games/books for the kids. The lake itself was stunning and the supplied watercraft (kayaks, paddle boat, row boat) were so fun to use. Would highly recommend staying here.

Overall the property was just as described. Unfortunately we went during the time where there was a wildfire in the area but the property management was very timely in notifying us ahead of time and that we were not in an evacuation zone. Plenty of room for two couples and a beautiful well stocked kitchen. There is no central AC so was a bit difficult given the air quality and hot days but when we were able to open the windows the house cooled down nicely. Overall beautiful picturesque stay and a place to lay our head at night after a day of exploring.

The property was clean and just as shown in the pictures. The reason we gave only three stars is because the fires in the area had been burning for weeks, and we were not notified in advance that both the air quality (unhealthy) and the view would be totally obscured by the smoke. We were unable to spend any time outside or on the lake because of the smoke. In fact, we left a day early because of that. We should have been notified before our visit and given the option to reschedule once the fires were out.

Absolutely beautifully situated on Lake Cushman. The home has great lake access, decks and some ammenities for enjoying the lake. The cons:Our stay was in August. I understand there is no need to have AC, but could you make a few fans available? Tried to sleep with windows open and the breeze was banging the blinds all night and finally had to shut the windows. Downstairs is cooler. Not the best stocked kitchen if you plan on doing a lot of cooking there. For example, there was no salt except for coarse margarita salt.

View and location were amazing. Overall, the property was disappointing. Dirty pans in the cabinets, dirty silverware in the drawers, blinds that didn’t work, furniture that was unstable, waterfront items (life jackets etc) was in complete disarray. We stayed at three properties on a weeklong tour around the National Park. This should have been the best one based on the amazing lake view. It ranked as a distant 3rd. Sadly, this place needs a serious upgrade in attention to detail.
