"Maya Heights Village is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! I traveled alone for my birthday and I felt completely safe. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable at all times, including changing my cabin when there were Wifi issues. Ingris, the lead coordinator was AMAZINGLY kind and attentive at all times. She was so sweet, even having a surprise birthday banner and cake set up at dinner when I arrived! She did so much, helping me book a wonderful tour and having a staff member drive me to the beach area when my birthday tour was cancelled unexpectedly. Between the BEAUTIFUL grounds, cabin and the wonderfully friendly staff including Fulencio, the farm manager, Kimberly, Edgar, Daisey and Julio I had a magical vacation and can't wait to return! Thank you to the staff at Maya Heights Village resort for a wonderful birthday vacation! "

"This house in Hopkins was so great! Before we even arrived Rick helped us with transportation from the airport, and suggested tours and activities. Elton, a tour company owner who partners with Rick to support guests at this property, picked us up and treated us like royalty. We chose to use Elton, via Rick, for all of our tour needs during the stay. Elton was friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful! A person could also rent a car and plan your own outings - it's easy to make the connections you need once you are in Belize.Hopkins is a great little town - not too touristy - with enough shops and restaurants to make it worth exploring.The house itself was clean and beautiful. The art is vibrant and a definite value-add. The pool is clean, with immediate access to the beach. The view from the living area and patio is stunning. The beach in Belize is a narrow shoreline, and unfortunately there is often garbage in the waterline. We did not find this to detract, especially since there is someone who comes to clean the pool and rake the waterline of the property each day. The only drawbacks to this property are the bugs and the road. Belize has a lot of biting insects. Bring bug spray and itch cream! While the location on the coast is fabulous, the house is in a newer development that is still reached by a dirt road. It had been pretty rutted by recent rains, but plans to pave it are in the works.We strongly recommend this property for families or groups. Enjoy!"

"We stayed here for 7 days in January and loved every moment of it. From the moment we landed on the island by helicopter to the moment we left by boat, the experience was seamless and exceptional.Henry did an outstanding job planning everything, managing schedules, and cooking meals for two adults and three kids - which is no small task. The food was excellent and thoughtfully prepared throughout our stay.We came specifically for our annual board of advisors working sessions, and the island turned out to be the perfect environment to focus. Minimal distractions, complete privacy, and the kind of calm that makes deep work possible. On days when the weather brought strong winds and rain, it actually helped us stay even more focused and productive.Despite that, the snorkeling was fantastic - right from the shore. Crystal-clear water, abundant marine life, and unforgettable moments watching nurse sharks and stingrays pass by the deck. The team also brought out floaties for the kids, which they absolutely loved.The property sits directly on the water, and the views alone are worth the stay. You can easily spend hours just sitting on the deck watching fish swim by.This place is ideal if you’re looking for a rare combination of natural beauty, privacy, comfort, and the ability to truly disconnect and focus. We would absolutely come back"

"Other than no hot water in either sink & no heat, the cabin was GREAT. Hot water in the shower. No carbon monoxide detected. Kitchen, paper towels, sun porch, water faucet outside, extra blanket, fridge... The bomb! The staff was GREAT! Modesto Pop is very helpful, you just gotta ask! Julian knows what he's doing!"
