Come relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountains! Beautiful log cabin nestled in the woods on a secluded 5 acres with a pond. There are two enclosed bedrooms (each with a queen bed), a futon in the loft, and two sleeper sofas - one on the main level, and one in the basement. Two full kitchens, two and a half baths, and two wood burning fireplaces. Flat screen TVs with satellite service and WiFi. Wrap around deck, with a covered, rocking chair back porch overlooking the pond. Cabin is not child-proof.

Great getaway

A great getaway, close to Pisgah hiking and Brevard. The cabin sits atop a hill, surrounded by nature, and is very quiet and peaceful.

Lovely long weekend

This is a well-appointed, secluded, and impeccably clean rental. Very much enjoyed our stay here. About a 30-45 minute drive from hikes we did during the day. Look forward to coming back!

Fall weekend

We had a beautiful fall weekend in the mountains with family members ages 2 to 89. Everyone had a wonderful time in this charming, immaculate and well stocked home. We will be coming back!

Absolutely the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Very relaxing cabin in the woods. We will definitely be back every time we come back to visit my daughter. Great place for the grandkids to come out and explore. Hidden gem in the woods. Highly recommend.

Family Vacation Week

Anne’s cabin was great. Five of us spent a week there for biking and hiking in the mountains and side trips to Asheville. Ate and spent our evenings hanging out on the back deck. Kitchen was well supplied, and the basement billiards room was fun.

Beautiful Cabin in the woods

This is a great cabin in the woods. No complaints about the cabin. all the amenities. quiet at night and would often see deer in the morning. The only drawback, it is about 3/4 mile down a one lane fire road.

Another Wonderful Stay!

This is our fourth time visiting the Red Fox Den and we keep coming back for the same reason; this place is special! The cabin has everything we need and it feels so homey and comfortable. The location is perfect for us as it feels secluded when you're on the property and yet close enough to the highways that you can get anywhere you need quickly. We love the wrap-around porch and spend mornings and evenings there enjoying the mountain air and the view. I can't say enough good things about this cabin and we look forward to our next visit!!

Another wonderful stay at the Red Fox Den!

This was our third stay at the Red Fox Den and every time we visit we always regret not staying longer! This cabin is perfect for our needs. While the cabin is perfectly tucked away from the neighboring homes, the location is perfect for trips into downtown Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Pisgah National Forrest. I’m already missing morning cups of coffee on the deck overlooking the woods and pond below! Can’t wait til we return!!

Beautiful and Private Location with Quick Drive to Everything

We love the privacy, serenity, peacefulness, and calm that Red Fox Den provides. It allows us to reconnect with nature and step away from the stresses of everyday life. It is well maintained and always clean. We enjoy the decor. We enjoy seeing the wildlife and fishing in the pond. We love sitting on the porch and listening to the sounds of nature and the sounds of silence. Red Fox is off the beaten path but just a short drive to everything.
