"Wildcat haven is the place to come, relax and enjoy Chincoteague. The location is wonderful - private. It is on the Chincoteague bay with a private dock and fabulous sunsets that never disappoint.The house is relatively new, clean, comfortable and very well-appointed. They have thought of everything and provide it for you. The house design is wonderful - each bedroom has a full bathroom en-suite. There is a 2 story screened deck on the back and several decks on the front. Plenty of great deck furniture. The main kitchen is huge as is the great room. There are numerous places to get away from the group and sit on your own if you wish - as well as a huge sofa to be together."

"Great space! Clean and comfortable, wonderful for a family. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and we all curled up to relax in the sun room. We had some difficulty getting check in info from the host and the internet was down all throughout our stay, but overall a great stay!"

"We had a great experience! The house was really clean. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much anything you could need. There was a lot of space for everyone. So many games and books to choose from for down time.The arcade games were especially a hit with the kids. All of our questions about the property were answered quickly both before and during our stay. The only thing we’d say is that it was a bummer to not be able to use the canoe that is there. Also, we suggest having the laundry service for the property use unscented/free&clear type detergent. The scent of the towels and sheets was a little overpowering. "

"Overall the house was in a beautiful and convenient location. The best parts were the deck, the view, and the dock. It’s a stellar view, and a very peaceful time spent outside. The estimate that the house sleeps 8 seemed optimistic; full beds only fit one adult each but they were comfortable and clean. There were some nice lounging spaces both upstairs and down.The home itself was comfortable enough but dated and in need of updates and repairs, as well as a few additional basic conveniences, specifically in kitchen supplies. The frying pans were peeling, for example, and there were no cutting boards. The outdoor grill was rusty. It was frustrating that we couldn’t open the upstairs windows—they seem to be painted over. We made do. Seaside Vacations were responsive. They hadn’t left the starter bag of soap and TP, so we did have to call and request, but they dropped it off immediately. There were a few things around the house that needed repair; we reported them and they offered to send someone out that day (but since we left the following day we chose to defer until after our stay). Overall our stay was fine and family friendly, but we would probably choose somewhere else next time."
