Beautiful secluded cabin

The cabin has a very secluded feel without being far from anything. We absolutely loved the location. We loved Hot Springs and really enjoyed the stay.

Everything's amazing

The house was very clean, the property manager was very easy to communicate with and the views were breathtaking. Our family loved this property and location. For anyone wanting a secluded place but still close to town I definitely suggest this place.

Nice location not far from downtown

The house was in a quiet wooded area with a pretty view and about 5 miles from downtown. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked great. We enjoyed our stay!

Country at it’s Best

We loved this place. It was so quiet and it was easy to unwind from the hustle and bustle! We really enjoyed the quiet and watching the storms come over the mountains. Follow the directions the homeowner gives you in the listing.

Home was comfortable and welcoming. Host was very hospitable and made sure we had all the info. Wish we could’ve enjoyed the area more. Set up was great for the kids in our group!!

Was the perfect place for us to stay, minutes away from downtown but quiet, they were working on landscape and house so first impression was questionable, but inside was very clean and comfortable, loved the back porch with view of valley, we were very satisfied with this choice, host we very nice and helpful with our stay, would definitely stay here again.

Boonies but so close to town!

It was secluded it wasn't anything elegant. But it was perfect for me and my brothers to hang out and spend time together.

Exactly what we hoped - for a beautiful place to "relax and enjoy".

The property itself is beautiful - very peaceful and serene, and the house is lovely. Everything felt welcoming and was perfect for what we wanted...a quiet, peaceful, and beautiful place to "rejuvenate". The back deck was our favorite place to be (and the weather was cooperative!!). Our host was great - very nice, very friendly, and willing to answer all of our questions. We are looking forward to returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay. You can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet while still being close enough to Hot Springs to take advantage of all that area has to offer.

Nice, quiet scenic location

Our family really enjoyed our stay here and loved the remoteness, quiet of the location, views from the back porch, and just being in nature. As several other reviews have stated, this is not a fancy place to stay but it was great for our family. The kids really enjoyed the foosball table, but it needs to be tightened up/secured before many more play on it. Another interesting aspect to me was that the kitchen was well stocked with certain items, but not some of your every day items, such as only having 5-6 total plates and 2 bowls. Overall, we loved our stay & the owner was very responsive to any questions or needs that we had. I would recommend.

Secluded setting

The property owner was quick to repair a problem with the plumbing. We were down to only one bathroom for one night and he had a plumber there at 9 the next morning. Communication for check in was stressful because the property manager had not sent check in material. He was not answering his phone for us to communicate. He had, however, sent directions when he accepted our reservation, so we drove to the property and he was there and had it unlocked. Overall it was a good experience.

Beware! Not what we expected at all!

The gentleman did not send any information for the stay ahead of time and I had to contact the day of the trip to get instructions. We arrived at the property after speaking with the gentleman on directions to the house and noticed there was a home that was being repaired with caution tape around the porch area. Exposed wood that looked rotten was showing on the frame of the house. We were very confused because there was a white Tahoe and blue atv in the yard. We had to go back out to the main road since there was no cell crevice at all and call him again because we thought we went to the wrong property. I told him where we were located and we drove up to a home but there was a vehicle and equipment in the yard. He then told us he loved in the basement of the property and we had access to the top two levels of the home. Our daughter began to cry and said she did not want to stay at the home so we left and booked a hotel Instead.

Slam jamming getaway

This place is out in the sticks and is perfect if you want to get away from it all. I went there with my wife, twin 10 year olds and triplet 6 year olds. There lots of places to eat and sleep, the view is beautiful and Hor Springs is a short drive away. If I had to nitpick, it could use more blinds or shades and the master bedroom needs a fan. But overall we absolutely loved it. The host is very nice and actually lives on the bottom floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was peaceful and sitting on the porch listening to nature was amazing. Highly recommend.

Peaceful getaway

Excellent secluded house with very nice views and trails through the woods. Convenient access to Hot Springs national park, about 10 minutes drive. Had a wonderful relaxing time.

Peaceful Valley Home

Our Host had a much appreciated warm fire going in the wood stove when we arrived at his house in Hot Springs! The house was in a quiet area about 15 minutes from downtown with a beautiful view from the covered deck! We picked this property because it had two bedrooms with King beds. The beds were extremely comfortable and with the quiet area it made for a good night's sleep after enjoying all of the activities in Hot Springs.

Phenomenal property!

The view was absolutely amazing, and it was a beautiful, secluded area. All of my (three) kids got their own beds, so they were very happy about that. Very family friendly, would definitely recommend. If we ever come out this way again, would absolutely stay here. Property owner made sure we were well taken care of. I only wish we had been here long enough to enjoy the sunset off the back porch.

Great location

The property is very secluded and beautiful, but still just a 15 minute drive into Hot Springs. We had a short stay so not a lot of time to explore, but it looks like it would have been fun to do. Note that there is a separate unit in the basement of this property and someone else was living / staying there.
