Shady Rest a great place to stay
Great, quiet place to stay blocks away from the Main Street in Hot Springs. Beautiful yard and clean, cozy house. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Would 100% stay here again.

Comfortable home with fenced yard for the pups.
Enjoyed staying at this comfortable little home for a few days while visiting a friend and soaking up the hot waters in the area. Would stay here again.

Quiet little place
My fiance, myself and our son loved it! It was so nice to just get a little break for a few days and tonna was so great! Our little dog loved the beautiful yard as well! I highly recommend it. We will be coming back for sure!

Very nice, small 2br cottage in a small and low income town. A few places to eat, one new one - Louie=s - with excellent hamburgers (best I have had since 2013!). Very comfortable to just rest, sit and read. Electric stove has some issues, rug at front entrance is a problem (we decided to just remove it so it would not bunch up), but otherwise, very comfortable!

Get away
I just love this house... only in town a couple days & it was perfectly located for our plans. Owners have it set up to suit needs while there, even robes for the hotspring dips we partook in. Eat at the house or out, this kitchen is setup for all needs. Loved it, will be back when friend comes home froom SC. See you then!

Cozy, Clean and Comfortable
What a lovely place to stay in Hot Springs. We are so glad we chose the Shady Rest. Very cozy and clean. We had everything we needed for the weekend. Comfortable beds and a warm wood stove. We would love to stay again.

Cozy retreat
This little house is a cozy retreat for a weekend stay or a longer getaway. Lovely fenced yard, all the kithcne essentials, and lots of towels and bathrobes for enjoying the nearby hot springs. The beds were very comfy and cozy too!

Beautiful Escape
I love staying here. The cabin is so warm and inviting. The wood burning stove is such a wonderful treat! I love everything about the home! Quiet and peaceful. Close enough to everything so you can walk and enjoy the town.

We were confused of where the house was in Hot Springs Montana . . There was no address given in any of my information from the owner . II was extremely frustrating!!! Finally after emailing her she gave me the address. The place was cozy and warm, very homey and comfortable.

Charming & cozy cabin with great gardens.
We had a wonderful stay in Hot Springs at the cabin. The hosts were friendly, gardens & grounds were well maintained and lovely. We enjoyed sitting in the shade garden during the heat of the day. Off street and shaded parking was great for access. I can’t wait to return when the weather cold down in the Fall.

The Shady Rest
Excellent and affordable, clean and efficient. Tonna and John always there to help and the people in town are friendly. A great alternative to the $300 a night places in Kalispell if you don't mind the quiet and a little extra driving.

Charming Budget-Friendly Hideaway
This is a cute, easy-on-the-pocket place to stay. The neighborhood was quiet. Since there was no AC, we left the windows open at night and shut them and pulled the curtains before we left for the day. This kept the place cool. The bed was super comfy although I needed a step to get in because it was quite high. The landlady was nice and so was her dog. She made an effort to come and talk to us. The only objection I had was that the toilet was stained with what looked like Iron deposits. (The owner may not know that there are some effective cleaners available at hardware stores.) I would stay there again.

Very comfortable and adorable place. Nice robes for use after visiting hot springs. My GPS took me to wrong part of town… almost gave up finding it except friendly townspeople helped me locate it.

Hosts were absolutely amazing. We loved the location being so close to multiple hot springs and felt cozy like we were in a private cabin. We were very grateful for the accommodations. We had a fridge, kitchen, wood burning stove and TV while our son had his own room. The dog accommodations in particular were amazing. Our hosts had a completely fenced off area so we could just let our small dogs out without too much worry of them wandering off. Small tip though. On Sundays, the stores close early or are not open at all. You need to prep accordingly but we managed just fine. Would love to stay there again!

Great place to land!
My friend and I flew to Seattle from Milwaukee, then drove out to Hot Springs, MT. Faster than driving from Milwaukee, but exhausting. We rolled in late and let the host know ahead of time. She was very responsive and check in was a breeze! The property was clean, comfortable, and stocked with all necessities. Just one tip for future guests: bring ear plugs. The frogs are insanely loud alllllll night, and the back bedroom is close to the creek and has sound insulation equivalent to a cardboard box. It was great otherwise!

Clean neat very well organized safe fun little cottage. Only problem a few ants in kitchen probably just that time of year. We plan on staying there again when we go to the hot springs.

Wonderful Quiet Get-Away
Once we found it, we were thrilled with the accommodations. Very well put together and reasonable. Tonna thought of everything her guests may want to have available and her interior decorating is perfect -- the cutest and most comfortable place we have found in Hot Springs yet! We will definitely be staying here for all future trips to Hot Springs, Montana.

Hot Springs Getaway

Great little place.
Everything one would need for an evening or a week. Only complaint was a dog across the street , we showed up at 930pm and the dog didn't quit till after 11. Not much you can do really. Hot springs is a must do!
