Very nice place to stay. Ice maker was great. Only complaint was the hot water was tepid; it was warm but wouldn’t get hot. The beds were comfortable. We would stay again. Highly recommend.
The cabin felt brand new and very clean. The location was perfect, only 30 seconds walk from the AT. The only issues I had were no soap in the bathroom (both sink and shower), and as another reviewer mentioned, the shower was not hot, it was more of a luke warm. After a hot sweaty day of hiking the temperature was perfect.. but for 90% of people the temperature is going to be disappointingly chilly. The sink puts out sufficiently hot water, but the shower does not. The issue is with the twist handle, it doesn't twist far enough to the left to output a hot stream. You can actually force the handle by pressing on it HARD and it will output actual hot water, but you might break the handle (be careful). The host needs to fix this - it's probabily a simple fix. Other than this issue the cabin was perfect.
