"This was our second time staying here, and it certainly won't be our last! The property was exceptionally clean, super comfortable, and super dog-friendly—Watson loved it as much as we did. The hosts are truly amazing, thinking of everything you might possibly need to make your stay fantastic, including a well-stocked kitchen that made cooking dinner easy and helped us save on trip costs.This trip was all about rest and relaxation for me, my dad, and Watson. Michigan City is the perfect getaway spot. It's just a short drive to the Great Lakes, where the sunsets are breathtaking and you can even spot the Chicago skyline across the water. The South Shore Line is also super convenient if you want to head into Chicago for a day trip.As a bonus for train enthusiasts, the house is close to the Norfolk Southern Chicago mainline, offering plenty of fantastic freight action alongside Amtrak passenger trains. We had a wonderful time and truly hope to make another trip back to Michigan City soon!"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One of the Century of Progress homes in the 1933 World Fair, the cypress cabin has been beautifully renovated with all the modern day amenities, while preserving its old world charm. Spacious and comfortable, stunning lakeview in the sunroom, movie theater and gaming machines on the lower level, Indiana Dunes National and State parks nearby, we had a most relaxing and enjoyable vacation here.Super easy check-in and check-out, management is very responsive."
