We recommend downloading movies beforehand, bringing a book, or simply letting the sounds of the island fill your evenings.



Nature here is vibrant, alive, and sometimes intimidating. You will meet insects, reptiles, crabs, and perhaps hear the distant movement of snakes or crocodiles in the mangroves. At night, the jungle sings: birds, frogs, toads, and creatures unknown create a symphony that some find magical — and others overwhelming. Electricity, like everything else on the island, follows nature — air conditioning is available in all rooms, but power cuts do happen.



We clean the beach every morning, and most days it is pristine and breathtaking. Yet ocean currents can bring trash from Panama City, washing ashore overnight. When that happens, we invite guests to join us in cleaning the beach — and we thank them with a cold beer for every bag collected. It is our way of caring for this wild place together.



Despite the challenges, Saboga is extraordinary. You can paddle across turquoise waters, kayak through hidden coves, explore more than ten untouched beaches, or trek through the thick, breathing jungle. And when night comes, you will witness one of the most spectacular starry skies on Earth — no buildings, no lights, only the universe stretching endlessly above you.
