Apple Valley Lake spa-like retreat. Come to gather with your family and/or friends and relax in this newly renovated home on a quiet cul-de-sac. If you like clean and organized, this is the vacation spot for you. Everything is new including furniture, mattresses, Calphalon cookware, dishes and kitchen utensils. All mattresses and pillow cases protected with encased covers. Sit on the front deck or the back porch and enjoy the view of the lake and the wildlife (deer, hummingbirds, etc). The main floor has 3 spa-like bedrooms and 2 spa-like bathrooms. The main floor has a great gathering place with the kitchen open to the dining space and living space. Don't miss any touchdowns while you are cooking with the 65" Roku TV easily viewable from the kitchen. The kitchen is a gourmet chef's dream with all amenities. The downstairs walkout basement game room has an additional sectional sofa, 65" Roku TV, card table, , a kitchenette as well as a private bedroom with a queen bed and 1 rollaway twin bed and a full bathroom with shower. A 5-minute walk to Davis Beach. Pups are welcome, poop bags and a trash can on the back porch are provided for your convenience of cleaning up after your pup. No Smoking at this property please!

Our family enjoyed a beautiful stay at Brenda's Artistic Retreat! This was by far the cleanest property we have ever experienced. The kitchen was a dream and wonderful for making a homecooked meal for our Kenyon student, The beds were truly comfortable, the spacious shower was fantastic, and we all wanted to bring the couches home with us. :) There was a gorgeous view of the lake from the deck-the perfect place for morning coffee. Thank you for a relaxing and worry-free weekend!

Thanks Brenda for a beautiful spot to spend some relaxing time with friends. What a wonderful location. We spent most of our time in the spacious open kitchen/dining area and on the porch over looking the lake. The space was perfect for the 8 of us. Thanks for providing everything we needed to just relax and enjoy each other's company. We hope to make a return trip soon.

This property looked brand new and was beautifully maintained. We stayed there instead of in the dorms for our 45th college reunion. The house was perfect for us. Great indoor and outdoor space for chatting. We'd book again in a heartbeat if Brenda is still VRBO'ing her home, when we come back in 5 years for the big 5-0.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO property. Brenda was fantastic to work with. Only issue was that there were no washcloths provided. Thankfully we brought a few with us just in case as we weren't sure they would be available. This home was completely renovated recently and immaculately clean. You will not be disappointed!

Brenda was the best host we have ever had. She was great at communicating with us, and just one of the sweetest people we have ever met. I would rent from her anytime! We’ve stayed at other places in Apple Valley and they don’t even compare to this one. The view was beautiful, and the inside of the property is stunning. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of space for all of us. The home was stocked with everything we needed and it was so clean! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you, Brenda!!!

We loved our stay in Apple Valley! This was our first time using VRBO. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! The updated interior was both beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the local artists work displayed throughout the home-such a nice touch! Plenty of extra blankets including throw blankets in the living room. Although we only stayed a weekend I miss drinking my coffee with a view of the lake. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at this Lakehouse. It was the host's first time renting out the house to a larger group, and I would say they did a great job accomodating. The house is clean and has everything you need to enjoy some time away and some time with friends. The kitchen layout was nice for cooking and gathering and the basement has a nice open space to set up games and congregate. The scenery by the lake is nice as well, we went for a couple walks which were enjoyable.

This property is gorgeous, and we are so pleased that we were able to stay here for our weekend in Mount Vernon! It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with plenty of space for our family with 2 teens / young adults to spread out! I was surprised though that even with having space to get away from their parents, our teens chose to play the board games that were available on the second night plus, on the third night, they chose to watch a movie together upstairs! ❤️ The second morning, the boys even made the girls breakfast in the fully stocked and gorgeous kitchen! This home was perfect for our weekend! Thank you!
