Lakefront House close to Ann Arbor!

Charming lakefront cottage with private beach. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Ann Arbor and 15 minutes from Brighton. We are located on Horseshoe Lake, an all sports lake with paddle board, pedal boat, rowboat and kayak included. Enjoy fishing, swimming or just relaxing in the hot tub. Sleeps 6 comfortably (although room for 8). Master bedroom has king bed. Middle room has 2 queen beds and front bedroom has queen bed. WiFi included. Cable tv in main room, master bedroom, and front bedroom. Linens included.

*while the beach is private the dock is shared with our property next door.

Great family getaway

This place had everything we needed for a weekend away with our kids. Spacious yard, lake access, games and activities for kids and hot tub for the adults to enjoy. Was so nice to relax after the kids went to bed and just enjoy the peaceful neighborhood. Quick trip to Ann Arbor if you wanted to enjoy a night out in the city. We will definitely be back!

Summer Family Magic

Lovely lakeside property. Enjoyed two weeks of family fun. Swimming , paddle boarding, kayaking, plenty of lawn space for games, hot tub, and marshmallows by the campfire made this stay magical.

Family wedding weekend

Lots of space to move around; our family of 6 was very uncomfortable. Only wish the weather had been nicer to enjoy the outdoor amenities.

Quiet lake getaway

A very cute lake house set on a quiet lake that was perfect for our family vacation. We all enjoyed the paddle board, kayaks, row boat, and pedal boat. The hot tub was a great way to start or finish the day and the patio was very nice. On a rainy night we had fun playing the arcade games and watching a movie. Overall we were very happy with everything Laura was very helpful and a great host.

Nice Lake Cottage

Nice four night stay. About 15 minutes from Ann Arbor. We went to University of Michigan football game and easy to get in and get out from this area. House exactly as pictured and host has thought of everything one would need to fully feel at home here. Beautiful lake views from inside. Lovely area. Lots of leaf burning the entire time which was unfortunate as we couldn’t really enjoy being outside but that is just this time of year. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, relaxing spot near so many things to do.

This lakefront house was a great place to include our three granddaughters. The house was comfortable to us all. Kayaks, a paddle board, and a great assortment of life jackets were provided. The girls could paddle out easily and not be disturbed by fast water craft since the house is on the quiet side of the lake. There was a little sandy beach to play on and a pier to cast out their fishing lines. They loved the hot tub as well. We enjoyed the comfortable chairs, the beautiful view, and watching our granddaughters have so much fun. Great vacation spot!

Perfect space for our writing retreat!

This house was delightful, well-stocked, clean and welcoming for our group of writers. We could gather at the large table or spread out for individual focus. The kitchen was exceptional for meal prep and clean up, with everything we could ask for, for cooking and serving meals! And while the host doesn't guarantee the weather, it was a lovely warm weekend and some of us took to the water on the kayaks while others wandered the area an found a nature trail to explore. I miss it already!

Father’s Day fishing

Beautiful property. Quiet, family friendly neighborhood on a peaceful lake. Property fully stocked with life jackets, kayaks, paddle board, fishing boat and yard games. Was with my in laws and my husband and kids. We caught lots of bluegills and bass. They had fully stocked kitchen to meet our cooking needs throughout our stay. The house flows so nicely with lakeside cottage inspired decor. We enjoyed board games from the selection at night. We were able to pack so much less because it was all already there. We had such a nice trip and made great family memories.

Lovely lake house

This lakefront house on Horseshoe Lake was perfect for us—2 couples and a baby. It was spacious, clean, with comfortable spaces both inside and out. The back deck overlooking the lake is nicer than the pictures show. It has a large dining table with big umbrella, making it a good place to relax. The hot tub is well maintained and very clean. We cooked most of our meals at the house and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Also enjoyed exploring the lake on the paddle boat. Laura was very responsive, even sending over a new coffee maker soon after we reported issues with the provided one. A great place to enjoy our new granddaughter!

Lake Front Paradise

This place is as advertised but, way better in person. 7 miles from Ann Arbor. We had a party of 6 and we very comfortable inside and outside the house in the backyard/deck area. We spent time in the hot tub after a day spent at Michigan Stadium watching our beloved Texas Longhorns play the Michigan Wolverines. There are plenty of restaurants in the Whitmore Lake area plus plenty of restaurants in Ann Arbor from which to choose. We were able to Door Dash and have it delivered to the house, no problem. If we return, this will be our first choice. You will not be disappointed with this lovely lakefront home.
