"This was a perfect stay to be able to explore attractions near Skaftafell and go back to Vik in time for another glacier related activity. The location is a few minutes off the main road which offers extremely quiet and calm nights. There is a beautiful waterfall on the way there that you can stop at. Breakfast was ok; not what I’m used to, but it had enough options. Staff was really nice and attentive."

"We stayed for two nights. Long but amazing drive after 3 nights in Rekjavik. We were 1.5 hr drive from glacier lagoon tour (amazing experience on a zodiac). Location of hotel is quiet. It’s a real surprise - bar area is just lovely. Amazing cocktails. We had two complementary for our birthdays!! Ate in restaurant both nights. Great food. Breakfast plentiful. Staff were great - especially Adrianna from Czech Republic. Room 130. Suited us just fine. Bathroom door and lighting not great and walls paper thin. Second night we had very loud neighbours. Had to complain as it went on too long and night staff stepped in. I really hate complaining but some people forget they’re in a hotel."

"Great hotel. We ended up staying at Hotel Laki instead of the bungalows because it was more convenient. The staff were so kind. One of the nicest we've encountered in Iceland. - The receptionist changed our booking month when we got it wrong and helped us cancel one of our double bookings because of the snowstorm. - The restaurant staff, Arna and Jose, gave my daughter boxed apple juice, bread to feed the horses inc baby horses nearby, gave a small gift to my daughter, and a small cake when my daughter told them it was my birthday. Spacious rooms, great bar area with fun games to play during the snowstorm. "

"Excellent stay here - staff were brilliant with their communication, telling us exactly how to check-in late. Comfortable room, and opened breakfast early for us (7:20am) as we had to leave for a trip. Incredibly accommodating and welcoming place."

"My mother and I stayed here along our road trip through the whole country. We were so thoroughly impressed with how clean, cozy, quiet, and prepared this day was. The kitchenette had everything we could imagine, the bathroom was spacious and nice, and the bets were very comfortable with extra bedding available. If we had the ability, we would have added another night here just to enjoy the property. It’s a beautiful view along a quiet farm and even though there are neighbors, it’s extremely private and cozy. Thank you for such an exceptional stay!"

"While not the flashiest or most "Instagramable" stay of our trip, it was my favorite. Felt really homey, so close to the sweet sheep, very spacious, and the hot tub was incredible. Highly recommend!"
