"These warm, welcoming and courteous hosts provided us a sense of home away from home. Our space was clean and comfortable and communication with the hosts was very helpful to enhance our stay. The breakfast items provided included fresh fruit, fresh macadamia nuts and fresh baked goods daily. We hope you stay here and enjoy it as much as we did, the hot tub is a MUST after a long day of exploring Hawaii’s big island. We’d love to come back! "

"The place was wonderful. We loved the view and appreciated the little things like having chopsticks available when we got Costco sushi. There was a slight misunderstanding on my side though. The place says it sleeps 4 adults, which it does with the sofa bed, but the pictures I saw made me think there were two beds, a king and queen, instead of a king and a queen sofa bed. The description on the site says these details accurately but the pictures made it look like there were two different colored comforters on the bed due to the lighting which made me think there were two bed in addition to the sofa bed. It was totally my misunderstanding as everything is listed properly but don't make the same mistake as me. We were fine with our kids on the sofa bed though and the property was beautiful. We would definitely come again. "

"We loved the house and the details in the decor and lighting, but as other reviewers have stated, the yard and gardens are the show stopper- absolutely beautiful! And as a birder you can’t beat the back porch for bird watching and feeding the pheasants. The kitchen is small but we had everything we needed to make our meals there. You will not find a better accommodation for the price on the island. Don’t miss the Kona cloud forest and the sound meditation journey just up the street- it’s worth the price. "
