"Mostly very clean, except sliding glass doors. Would have cleaned myself but no cleaning materials on site. Wanted to love this place. We have stayed in other units but were delighted to find a first floor unit. The good: well equipped, comfortable, plenty of towels, and beach stuff. Nice patio area. The bad: communication was awful. Don't know if the problem is with the owner or RedAwning. "The building and overall interior are overdue for a makeover and clean up. For the price this should be better looking without cracks and old stained paint. In my experience this is should be a $150-$200 a night hotel. Anything above at its current condition is not worth it. The lanai was great sell for us included a slightly building obstructed view. Overall a good enough view of ocean and sunset. The plantar box on outside of lanai was non existent just a dirty stained area where plants etc should have been. One large roach visited us on the lanai. None noticed inside. *Another hotel charging additional for parking is not appreciated when staying for more than a few days. It must be included at those prices."

"This was the very best rental home we have ever stayed at. The home is well stocked with quality and comfortable amenities. The host was easy to reach at any time. You will not get a better view of the ocean and sunsets from any other home . The home was a great location for all the things we did. Again, can’t say enough about how comfortable we all were."

"The property was just as advertised, and more! We would consider staying there again, and would recommend it to family and friends. Here’s why:Our family of six had more than enough space for our four night stay. The home is so unique and charming, with community spaces and contemplative areas as well. The lanai was a favorite place for morning coffee and family games. The large dining room table is where we ate all of our meals, and the kitchen table was another place for game night. The kids loved to curl up on the window seat in the kitchen! And the kitchen is quite large and had enough kitchen supplies for us to make our dinners. The industrial coffee grinder was clutch! It was quite convenient to have a washer and dryer, which we used a few times. In the laundry room there are so many water sport/toys for use. We didn’t use them, but for those who are looking to snorkel or need their own beach towels those seem to be available. Having beach chairs, a beach, umbrella, and coolers available for use was also a very nice touch. And the top floor shower is luxurious! Views from the home, both looking out over the coast, as well as looking back at the house were very inspiring. It was almost like the kids were living in a fairytale setting. And the sunsets…!The property is about 15 minutes from Kailua-Kona, making trips to the grocery store quite easy."

"The house was nice with plenty of room. House was clean and the kitchen provided enough supplies. The hot tub and pool were amazing. The view from the pool area was breathtaking. There was also good communication from the host. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting."

"We had an amazing stay. The house was spotless when we arrived, and it was clear that everything had been thoughtfully prepared for guests.One of our favorite parts was the kitchen. We cooked breakfast and dinner there almost every day, and it was stocked with absolutely everything we needed, from cookware and utensils to the little things you don’t usually find in vacation rentals. You can tell the hosts took time to make sure guests have everything they needed and made it feel like cooking from home.We also made great use of all the beach gear. Having chairs, toys, beach towels, and a cooler available made our beach days so much easier and saved us from having to rent or buy anything.The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everyone slept great after long days exploring the island. The home is peaceful, well-maintained, and has beautiful views that made every morning and evening special.Super quiet neighborhood.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped home base in Kona.Small gripes—- We had a hard time finding remote controls to the tvs, turns out they were in the couch cushion.There were baby geckos running around inside, but they didn’t bother anybody. Kind of cute actually.And not having a direct phone number to text someone with questions was annoying. But the host responded quickly to email when we reached out to request an early check in."
