"This is a bottom unit in a two building combo setup where the swimming pool area is next to the building very easily walked to next door. The condo itself is very impersonal and clearly just fixed up for sale. Lots of toys in laundry room for beach - a good one I think if you have kids. The location is very nice for snorkeling which is the prime feature in that area. So not luxurious but just fine."

"This was a quick layover before heading to the other side of the island for our son’s wedding. We enjoyed being tucked into the tropical setting g bit still a quick walk to the beach. Really adorable place, clean and comfortable. As with many island accommodations there were only fans and breezes through open windows. And there were fun critters to keep us company."

At the end of the day though, what really made us happy to stay here was the fact that they were willing to work with us and find a solution when our travel was impacted due to Hurricane Lowell (we were going to island hop to Kauai and had to find a last minute place to stay). We will be back"

Also they should warn that the entrance code expires on the minute at checkout so if you inadvertently close the door with a suitcase still inside you are in trouble. It would be better if management reached out on checkout morning."

Duane stayed in close contact to ensure all went well especially considering the storm that hit the Big Island during our stay. Fortunately, Kailua-Kona was spared the worst of hurricane Lala.As advertised, the location is excellent with the beach across the street and Kona just a few minutes away. Mahalo Duane & Cheri"
