"We enjoyed our short stay at the Royal Kona, while on Big Island. It is in a great location near everything you might want to do. The beds are very comfy and rooms are spacious. The resort also has great amenities as well. We would stay here again! "

"Great location to explore the island. The kitchen was well stocked and there are umbrellas, chairs, and towels for beach time. The condo was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the washer and dryer were good for laundry. Overall, a great place to stay. "

"The property had lots to offer. The beds were comfy and the lanai was great to sit out on. The property well stocked with the exception of everyday use items to cook with like seasonings, oil, or condiments. In rentals I’ve been at previously, many people leave those items for the next group to use but this one had salt and pepper and that was it. The pool area was clean and not super busy. There was a barbecue area to cook at by the pool which was awesome. "

"We had a great overall stay at this condo in Kona and would definitely consider returning.Pros: The location is fantastic—just a quick 2-minute walk to the beach, which made it incredibly easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. The condo itself is very spacious and worked well for our family of four, with plenty of room to spread out. We especially loved the generous lanai space and the abundance of large windows in the living area that brought in lots of natural light. It was also a bonus to have boogie boards and beach chairs available for use. Being so close to the pool was another convenient perk.Cons: While the condo was comfortable, it did feel a bit “tired” in places. A fresh coat of paint and some updated decor could really elevate the space. The bedrooms could also benefit from blackout blinds for better sleep. Trimming back the palm trees would help improve the view—even a small peek of the ocean would make a difference. Lastly, the living room seating wasn’t quite adequate or comfortable enough for our family to fully relax together in the evenings.Overall, this is a well-located, family-friendly condo with great potential—it just needs a few updates to make it truly exceptional."

"The kitchen was sett up great for our needs. Unfortunately we were unable to use the outdoor facilities due to the Kona Low storm during our stay but they did look clean and inviting."

"Beautiful property in a beautiful place. Well maintained condo in a relatively quiet area. A bit far from city center. My first rental where I was required to throw out the trash and run at least one load in the laundry; I was supposed to turn off the thermostat, but I couldn’t figure out how to do that; check out time at 10am is on the early side."

"Location was great! Loved the wraparound lanai. The kids liked sleeping on the futon outside. The twin beds were a little uncomfortable for the people sleeping there (too soft). We appreciated the fun closet with beach toys. Check in was a little confusing because we weren't sure how to get to the office at first, but overall it was a fantastic place in a fantastic location. We loved it and would stay there again."
