"A really comfortable and charming property. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was also good (even for me with a bad back). The location is superb - in a quiet valley, an easy walk to Bolton castle and just a stroll to Aysgarth waterfalls. As a map will show, really close to Wensley and Leyburn with nice pubs. Juliet and David were very friendly hosts (as were the sheep)."

No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. "Situated in the Yorkshire Dales in the beautiful village of Grewelthorpe the cottage met expectations and a lot more. A cosy accommodation with all the creature comforts you would expect in a place with high standards. Spend a little time exploring the village of Grewelthorpe when you’re there and a meal at the nearby Crown Inn. Further afield explore the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with its quaint and picturesque villages and the beauty of the surrounding areas are stunning."
