Glad the helpful receptionist pointed out we had paid twice, once through Expedia, and once direct to hotel as requested by them in email prior to arrival. This appears a common occurrence, and should be rectified so is not repeated, thanks.

Overall the hotel could use improvement when it comes to cleanliness and some of the staff attitude. Our bed sheets were ripped, the bathroom was somehow dirty, we were provided with a twin room, although from the photo looks presented we booked a double bed with view, but we were placed on the first floor viewing the street garbage large bins. The improvement suggested over the staff has more referance for me when it comes to the lady that checked us in, who was not friendly and made us feel like she was making a great effort in receiving us.
