A great hotel in Den Helder

A great hotel in Den Helder, staff are friensly and helpful. A great gym, small pool, sauna and steam room. Rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. The bar has a decentbstock and the food is off good quality, highly recommend a stay.

Hotel on a sloope.

Good hotel, but worth mentioning that even though my room was on the "second floor" in the elevator I had to decend four flights of stairs down as the the hotel is located in a sloope, and my room ended up on the ground floor. Breakfast was great and quality of the room and the personeel was great.

The bathroom and the overall experience of our room was outdated, unfortunately we had a disgusting smell in our room we weren’t able to locate - we could only sleep with an open window at night to get fresh air. The sink, the shower and the sink table were old - only the tiles were new and renovated recently. The sewers were not clean. Bed was comfy though and the staff at the reception friendly and welcoming.

Magical at the shore of the North sea

A very nice hotel just a couple of meters from the sea. The hotel staff in both the frontdesk and at the breakfast were friendly and made us feel very welcome. Free parking just outside, clean and spacious room with comfortable beds. The breakfast had all and more.

Very relaxing stay in a lovely hotel. Just one comment Reception should ask guests if they have any physical problems before being allocated a room at the end of numerous flights of stairs (# 40). The additional 'work-out' was not particularly welcome!

Schönes Hotel direkt am Deich gelegen. Zugang zum Meer direkt gegenüber. Die Zimmer entsprechen einem guten 4 **** Standard. Freundliches hilfsbereites Personal. Restaurant im Untergeschoss mit erträglichen Preisen. Störend empfand ich die absolute Rauchverbotsregel. Wobei ich die Regel an sich verstehe, es aber befremdlich fand, direkt durch ein Schild an der Rezeption eine Vertragsstrafe von 500 € angedroht zu bekommen. Das Frühstück hat mir persönlich nicht so gut gefallen. Zu wenig Auswahl an Brot (sehr kleine geschmacksneutrale Brötchen; kein Toast, keine hartgekochten Eier). Freundliche junge Dame beim Frühstücksbuffet, die sehr bemüht war, meine Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht. Alles in allem waren wir trotzdem zufrieden.
