The space

The apartment is the top floor of a Spanish-style villa, with private external access. It was refurbished completely in August 2021, in a clean, Spanish revivalist design, with all the modern comforts and facilities you'd expect (including 400MBS wifi and modern air conditioning).

The stylish master bedroom, with king-sized bed and comfy linen, has a walk-in closet. Wake up looking out over El Yunque, there's a lovely balcony ideal for breakfast. The brand-new bathroom has a hot-tub / shower, and there's a walk-in wardrobe to store everything.

There's a separate wood-floored study, with comfy lazyboy, work desk and office chair.

The private rooftop terrace has a shaded dining table for up to 6 people, recliner with umbrella, and an elevated table with stools, perfect for sipping cocktails looking out over the landscaped gardens. There's a barbeque and a washing machine also. The pergola with its twinkling lights completes the romantic atmosphere.

In addition to the barbecue, the kitchenette is well-equipped with a microwave, coffee machine, 2 hob rings and a full compliment of crockery and glassware.

Guest access

Keys in the locked box at the door - code to be provided on day of arrival. Please note that the property is not disabled accessible as it requires going up a set of stairs.

Other things to note

We are a Puerto Rican/British couple who split our time between London, Spain and Puerto Rico and bought this villa in 2021, as we love its location, style and the Palmas del Mar vibe. One day we hope to retire here, but until then we are happy to share it with you!

It's our first time hosting (and can rent this along with the downstairs portion as well) and we are super keen to make sure you have a great time staying with us. Our family lives locally and will be on hand to help with anything during your stay.
