"What a gem of a cabin this was and so clean! The views on the back porch as well as from inside that cabin are just stunning, and we loved that it's all tucked back in the woods with a lot of privacy. We also appreciated the artwork throughout the cabin made by the owners. This was the perfect beginning to our stay in Alaska. Our family stayed here for the first 4 days of our trip and didn't want to leave."

"The ultimate relaxing weekend, my partner and I enjoyed every moment. Favorite activity was kayaking around the lake, watching the fish jump, enjoying the end of the Alaskan summer. This would be a great place to stop on the way to or from Valdez, and we will definitely make this a yearly getaway. Right off the highway but still private, didn’t see anyone else on the lake. Clean and fully stocked with everything we didn’t know we even needed. Super kind hosts who obviously love showing off this state and the cabin life- the property feels truly Alaskan- rustic but beautiful, quirky touches, outdoorsy- and the pride of ownership shows through. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable trip to Lodge 88, we will be back!"
