Stay Alaska - Modern Stays in the Wild

10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay here for our first trip to Alaska! Chris met us there when we arrived late into the evening due to flight issues. The place was very accommodating and beautiful with a beautiful view! We saw moose and calves every night. One evening a bear came to visit while we were in the hot tub. It was centrally located so that we could fish and site see in many spots. We drove about 3 1/2 hrs to Denali. We flew into Anchorage and was just a 45 min drive away. Highly recommend them and we will be back! Thank you!"

Cozy, pet-friendly, 2-bedroom cabin in beautiful Palmer, Alaska

Cozy, pet-friendly, 2-bedroom cabin in beautiful Palmer, Alaska

10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was clean, quiet, and well-stocked. It is quite remote. This was the last place we stayed during a 20 day trip to Alaska and so the access info wasn't available until we were on the road. I had seen the info but did not write it down before heading to the cabin at the end of a long day of driving. We got to the cabin and realized we did not have Internet service there and had to drive back down the highway a bit to be able to get the code. The wifi for the cabin worked great once we had the info to sign in to it. So, make sure you get the access code before you drive to the cabin the first time. Great place to stay!"

Forget Me Not Cabin

Forget Me Not Cabin

10/10 Excellent
"We thoroughly enjoyed our cabin stay after a hectic week on a cruise ship. The cabin was well appointed with everything you need in a very peaceful setting. We had morning coffee looking out into the woods for wildlife (watched a rabbit). It is a great location for going to the Manatuska Glacier or visiting Palmer and the Reindeer Farm."

Mountain House Amazing view of Matanuska Peak

Mountain House Amazing view of Matanuska Peak

10/10 Excellent
"We were on family vacation, so we had 5 adults. there was plenty of room for all of us to sleep and just hang out. They had a very nice setup space outside, beautiful view of the mountains across the way, but because of all the rain we did not get to hang out there much. The place is up in the woods so if you like that that would be a perfect place for you. We wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle. It was about a 10 - 15 minute drive to the town area. We did not mind. We are from Long Island and really enjoyed the quiet up there. We actually saw a moose crossing the street our first day on the way to the home. That was exciting to us. We did not see any bears but we did see a bunch or Turkeys as well. Thanks go out to Jonathan our host for being very helpful with things to do and answering any of our questions that we had right away. If we go back to the Anchorage area we would stay at the Mountain House Again."
