"We had an exceptional one night stay in the treehouse. Beautiful property and the welcome gift basket was very nice. They had a fire going for us when we arrived that we enjoyed spending time around. "
"This is a cute little hotel in the center of town. Our room, 203, was small but well appointed, very clean, with a comfortable bed, I'm not sure if all rooms are like this but our bed was against the wall so somebody had to crawl in and out. There is not a manned front desk, you are given instructions, and a key code, but the folks who run this are on the other end of a phone and there are more than helpful. I had booked two separate stays back to back, to get things straight and they helped, so we didn't have to check in and check out, and we could keep the same room. If you have questions, don't hesitate to call them"
Cozy, pet-friendly, 2-bedroom cabin in beautiful Palmer, Alaska
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay at this little cabin in the woods. Close to everything we needed quiet and nestled in the trees. The cabin was clean and well appointed. Top it off with a shower with good water pressure! A great place to stay when visiting the Palmer area "
"This property was a delight. It was spacious, perfect for 2 people. Instructions for check in and out were clear. The unit set up was well thought out. On top of all that the bed was comfy. When I come back to Palmer, I will definitely be looking to stay here again. "
"If I could give this property more than a 5 star I would! We stayed for 10 days in July (3 adults, 2 older teens) This property is everything you are looking for if you want to experience true Alaska! The views of the lake and mountains every morning were the highlight of our trip. We saw a moose in the lake, swans, eagles, ducks. It has plentiful trout in the lake as well. The property is very private/remote but at the same time only 20min from the town of Palmer where there is everything you’d need. The road is a bit rough and driveway steep but still fine for a car in the summer. In Palmer Fred Myers has groceries and apparel, also nearby restaurants and delicious ice cream at the Big Dipper. The camp has 3 bedrooms; two have queen beds with a twin bunk above, the upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and twin. There are 2 full bathrooms. Tv has several streaming options (but I don’t think you’ll want to watch tv here!). Cabin has all the necessities and was clean. Communication with owner was great and responsive. Wish there was laundry on site but honestly it wasn’t a big deal and we found that the laundromat in Palmer, Idita Wash, has laundry service for 2/pound. They wash/dry and fold it for you and can have it done quickly. This property is a gem! We are already planning our next stay here!! Don’t hesitate to rent this cabin!!! ( pictures are on the property)"
