"The Andel Lodge was a gem of a find! My sister and I stayed there on Tuesday 19th May and we were so impressed with everything! The decor was lovely, everywhere was spotlessly clean and our twin room was so cute! The staff were great, especially Theresa who really looked after us well, along with our aunt, uncle and cousin who were also staying there as we had a family funeral to go to. "The side entry pod was at the bottom of a quiet row. It was surprisingly well appointed with one of the best showers I’ve had when staying away for a long time and a comfy bed. The site itself had a fab shop with everything you could need. Will look to stay again when I’m in the area."

"Hotel was in a quiet location with easy parking and within walking distance of the seafront and town centre. Staff were welcoming on checkin and kept in touch with check in and out times clearly stated with a key drop service available should this be needed. Lovely view from the room and residents kept the hotel quiet even in the early hours. There is no lift at the hotel and our room was on the top floor which involved climbing 2 flights of stairs so someone with mobility issues may suffer. There was plenty of security lighting and cctv covering all the main passageways to help you feel secure."

"The property was much bigger than it looked in the photos, and the pool table was great bonus. Excellent location, even Saturday parkrun is just across the road. All rooms are good size, only issue was some of the street lights and neighbours security lights were very bright and was difficult to block out in some bedrooms at night. But all in all very good stay, would definitely come back."

"Wells next the sea is, as always, simply stunning and unique. The Globe Hotel is well situated in a leafy area of Wells. The room was okay, if a little tired, decor wise ie: paintwork needed touching up, but was clean and well stocked with beverages both hot and cold. The bed was a tad uncomfortable for sleeping, it felt like a well used mattress. On the whole the staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was well presented with a good choice of hot dishes along with continental food."
