10/10 Excellent
"Very enjoyable weekend stay for us and our two young kids (ages 6 and 9). The staff was very friendly and nice, and the family rooms were cozy - they put in two extra rollaway beds, so you might have more space travelling without kids, but it was great for us. I was most impressed with the location, we did not have a car, and the hotel is very easy to access from the 36 Coastliner bus, it is an easy and beautiful walk to Old Hunstanton beach (about 10 minutes, walking through beautiful beach huts and sea grass) and there are multiple dining options within a 10 minute walk. We especially enjoyed the view and pizzas from Dune, and the proper pub dinner we had at the Old Marnier Inn. There is also a nice playground about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. I would recommend booking any taxis well in advance, we were lucky to get one to Sandringham by calling the night before, but in the future I would book a few days out. The hotel has a small Alice House and bikes for children to use, even though mine were probably a bit old for it they loved playing with the lego sets inside the house. There is also a great variety of board games, we enjoyed Jenga and they had a lot of card games that would be good for a group of friends to play too. Overall a wonderful stay, thanks very much for the bar staff for making our aperol spritzes and the lovely guy who checked us in... we will definitely come back again."
