Inside, the Aux Box is a boutique stay, with custom finishes throughout, heated tile flooring underfoot, luxury bedding you`ll want to sink into, and thoughtfully stocked amenities — the kind of details that make it feel more like a small luxury hotel than a bunkie in the woods. Curl up by the cozy wood-burning fireplace and settle in.

When you`re ready to explore, a 5-minute trail walk through the woods takes you to our waterfront access on the Muskoka River, complete with a dock and a canoe for you to enjoy. Spend the afternoon paddling, swimming, or just sitting on the dock with a coffee. Back at the cabin, rinse off in the outdoor shower (available in the warmer months), watch the sunset from the deck, or gather around the bonfire for a classic Muskoka evening.

And when you do want a bit of town, you`re just an 8-minute drive from downtown Huntsville, with its fantastic shops, restaurants, and year-round activities — hiking, swimming, skiing, spa days, and yoga, in every season.

Check-in and Check-out times are firm. If you delay the cleaning staff from getting started on time, you may incur additional cleaning fees.

Garbage all needs to be disposed of in the blue Aces garbage bin at the round about where you park.

Fireplace: When starting the fire make sure the window is open a little bit and leave it open a crack at all times. With some paper, Fire starter and a some smaller wood get the fire rolling and then start adding wood logs as needed. Once the fire is burning well move the damper to closed. You do not want to put much in because it will get really hot in the Aux Box if you do.
