"Television never turned on, which might have been a dead remote control battery, but regardless I had no time to fret over this because my stay was not extended, merely one night. A single bath bar was provided -- no shampoo/conditioner, but I pack my own so no big deal there either. No curtains, only blinds, and I struggle to fall asleep unless the room is fully darkened; I pack a toque to cover my eyes, so I got around that issue too. I had hoped to check in early (11:30 am) but was informed that the linens/housekeeper had called in sick so the desk clerks were pulling double duty and no rooms were ready then; understandable, but annoying anyway, as I was an 8-hour drive from home with a baseball game to go see at 1 pm and an exhausting trip already behind me -- it would have been stellar to offload at noon."

"The view from the patio was great. But the bathroom was not clean and adequate supplies (tissue paper, soap, etc.) were not provided. The sheets on the bed were not clean! We will not stay there again."

"Lobby, including the breakfast area was clean and inviting. Room was clean. Bathroom was small. Room AC produced a fishy smell that overpowered the room, but not so bad that you couldn’t get used to it. Staff informed us that the breakfast buffet started at 6AM. That wasn’t true for the weekend. It started at 6:30AM. Beds were comfortable. Room was quiet. Elevator to second floor did not work. Fortunately we were on first floor. Toilet tissue and nose tissue were thin single ply. Maid service was provided only after 3 days unless specifically requested. That meant towels were used repeatedly. Access to Springfield area attractions was good."

"Great place to stay! Arriving later than normal, staff made sure I was accommodated. Free 14" pancake was huge, fed us both. Will definitely be back soon!"

"Excellent, spacious, and exceptionally clean cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dinnerware, pots and pans, utensils and towels. It had everything we needed from frying pans to stockpots, to baking pans. Each bathroom had such thick, fluffy towels and what other cabins dont have - big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The pool table was a hit, but even better, the close proximity of the basket ball court and sand volleyball court. With having teenagers, these were the highlight! And these teenager having their own rooms and bathrooms make 3 families staying together so much more comfortable. Third year to rent his cabin and hopefully many more years to come. The kids think this is "their" cabin and wont entertain the suggestion of another. "
