"My room was not clean when we arrived. Dirty towels in the floor, candy wrapper everywhere and crumbs. Even when we asked for someone to clean it and to bring dirty toweled they still left garbage."

"On the surface everything looked clean. There were cobwebs here & there, small sugar ants (maybe) and rodent droppings. Traps were left on the kitchen counter & under cabinet. An unopened candy bar on countertop, provided a late night snack for mice. Host was protective, as I had a medical emergency my first day there. I left my phone at the property & didn’t remember the code to re-enter. She waited until she spoke with me to give the code. The walkway to the unit isn’t smooth, making a smooth transport from house to ambulance impossible.Listing mentioned washer, ironing board, they were never found.Loft got extremely hot when the mini-split came on the first night. I wish my trip had been during a latter season as I was looking forward to the seeing a thriving garden & chickens. My friend said sofa bed was comfortable with the addition of the foam pad. Linens were not folded, just crumpled in a ball in a drawer. We moved the ottoman several places to figure where so that the sofa could be pulled out. My 76 year old friend had no problem doing so."

"We were locked out of the house, had to enter through an unlocked window. Then the hot tub had major issues, dirty filters, throwing many codes, wouldnt heat… maintenance guys were sent to the house at 11pm while we wanted to go to bed. Had to let them in the house to use the sink to clean the filters… my anxiety was through the roof, not very enjoyable stay. Communication with the hosts wasn’t great either, when we were locked outside I couldn’t get any help from anyone. "

"Taino wood was a great place for camping. Chantel and her husband Jesse are great host and are very welcoming and kind. Nice place to enjoy with your family in the nature. There were many tent sites inside their woods and we occupied the site called:Turey. We set up 3 tents (two 4-people tents and one 6-people tent). There was a firepit we used to cook food and Chantel and Jesse lend us a pot to cook. Before leaving Chantel, Jesse and a few of their friends sang indigenous songs and played their instruments and were very thankful for our stay and hoped we enjoyed our time which we did. We stayed one night on the 1st weekend of October which is full moon and they had an event taking place on Saturday, Oct.4 where they celebrate with indigenous music during the day until 10pm but the music was not too loud from where we were staying. If you have more questions in regards to their days of celebration, you can contact the host. Please pick up after yourselves and you must take your Garbage with you. During this time of Fall, it gets pretty cold in the night time. Besides your tent, bring enough Blankets, sleeping bag etc. Jesse offers a round trip with his (UTVs) from the Parking Lot to leave only your belongings closer to your site for a charge of $25. If you choose to walk, it can be a 7-10 min walk with your belongings. Jesse informed me as well that they rent tents. You can contact the host if you have more questions. "

"Beautiful house located less than 10 minutes from the Kartrite Waterpark. The trampoline in the back was a huge hit with the kids— kept them busy for hours. Love the multiple bathrooms and open concept, which made it easy to watch the kids playing inside. All in all, a great choice for families!"
