"The staff were nice, but: 1. The bathtub knob came off, the tub had someone else's hair in it, and likely wasn't well-bleached (walls with some mildew), 2. There was no protein (yogurt, meat) except milk for breakfast, 3. The bathroom hadn't been dusted in a while, 4. The TV had some lighting issues, 5. And there was no shampoo. I know Illinois passed a statute about bottles 6 Oz. or less (⁠415 ILCS 195/10), but the rule also states hotels may provide - and they had deodorant and (oddly) a 6 Oz. tube if moisturizer...which is also a personal care product (see statute)...but now shampoo. 6. Door keycard turned off after 10 AM when checkout was 11 AM. Shower worked, beds were not itchy, window air conditioner was fine."

"We had stayed there the last few years for an event, in the last year the place has gone downhill really badly. It appears that they quit doing maintenance to the place. The toilet in our room leaked water at the base/floor, we put towels around it to soak it up. Breakfast was a joke, the waffle batter had separated to a yellow sludge and water in the dispenser. It literally boiled when it hit the waffle maker and I spent 5 minutes picking crap bits of what was supposed to be a waffle out of it. The wife sad I shouldn't have bothered, but I don't like to leave any mess that I create. Motel staff standing there totally ignored us when telling other motel guests not to even try getting a waffle from it. I guess that we should have expected it to be bad experience since when we originally arrived d a police car was there with flashing lights on talking to people in the lobby."

"Cabin 1 was like being at summer camp. The cabin had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The best feature about the visit was the sandy beach and swim pond right behind the cabin. My family loved swimming and using the zip line! Mr. Tom was a very sweet host. The cabin was very close to many points of interest and the city."
