We are satisfied with our stay at this accommodation. The room was much more spacious and open compared to the places we stayed in London and Iceland. The kitchen was convenient for preparing light snacks. Dining out in Iceland was somewhat expensive, and there were not many salad or vegetable options available, so during our four-night stay, we bought vegetables, cheese, cured ham, and other items at the market and used the kitchen in the accommodation. However, carrying luggage up and down the stairs to the fourth floor may be difficult for elderly guests. Also, finding street parking was somewhat challenging. Parking fees differ between P1 and P2, and P1 is considerably more expensive. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Our stay at Alda Hotel was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond in every possible way and truly made our trip even more memorable. We were incredibly grateful to receive an early check-in since our room was already ready when we arrived after traveling. The breakfast offered a wonderful variety of options each morning, and everything was fresh and delicious. Every single member of the staff was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The location was also fantastic — perfectly situated for exploring Reykjavík while still feeling comfortable and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Alda Hotel to anyone visiting Iceland!
