"Booked it for a 3 day weekend girls trip and fell in LOVE. The upstairs and downstairs having full kitchens/living spaces makes it perfect for families to vacation together while also having some space which is all we could talk about doing in the future. For our girls trip it was peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what our mom group needed to relax. I can’t wait to come back someday. Also, we did the float trip and it was so nice to end it at the property - I will also note that in the 7 miles we floated, this property had access to the BEST river bank we came across. Really this property is perfect for any trip you could ever plan on taking - I highly recommend staying here!"

"Loved the property. Spent a couple nights there and literally did not leave the property. Enjoyed the view of the river and also the cabin itself is great. If the weather is not conducive to sitting outside, you can sit inside the cabin and enjoy the view of the river. Or you can sit on the front porch and enjoy that as well. Susan was very helpful prior to arriving, giving us details about the area and we hope to be able to stay there again in the future. Susan was a great host and had everything perfect and ready for us to walk right in. There is an outdoor fire pit which we would’ve loved to use, but it was too warm out for a fire. There is also a barbecue pit in addition to a charcoal briquette barbecue so if barbecue is your thing, bring some stuff for that! There is access to the river from the property. Thank you for the hospitality Susan!"

"This place was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The beds were clean and comfortable. Decor was beautiful and in excellent shape. Susan is an excellent host and thought of every single little detail to make any stay here perfect. "

"Ahmad’s property was absolutely beautiful. We stayed here for a weekend with our 15 year old daughter (approval given by host) who slept on the pull out couch. The cabin was plenty big for the 3 of us, but we weren’t inside much because outside was where to be. This property backs up to his other property, The Sunrise Cabin which is larger. You have absolute privacy from that cabin and its guests, but if you want to gather together there is a walking path. We had friends in that cabin and were easily able to walk back and forth all weekend sharing amenities and spending time together. I cannot say enough good things about the home. It was fully stoked with all we needed to cook and enjoy the cabin."

"This place is a real Jewel! Everything about it is top notch. But what really stands out is its “soul”. By that I mean the kindness and attentiveness of the host, Peggy. We had some particular issues that impacted our trip, and Peggy went out of her way to assist us. We will most definitely be coming back, multiple times I’m sure. Phil & Mary"

"This is a cozy pet friendly cabin and the full kitchen and outdoor grill are convenient. Owner communicates quickly, plenty of towels and bedding. Lots of room for dogs outdoors, connected to huge camp area so long empty roads good for long walks and a store open seasonally to walk to on site. Quiet setting, all rooms have solid blinds for sleep and privacy, WiFi worked well, temp control in each room worked great. Firewood was provided and the kitchen has all pans, dishes, utensils, cookie sheets, everything which was so nice for a long stay and cooking. The town is just a 10 minute drive with food, grocery, dollar general. The laundromat is 24 hours and coin operated. Excellent stay and would stay again.Helpful Notes to travelers- concrete floors throughout so may want to bring slippers or socks to keep feet clean and warm. No closet, dresser, or hooks just two luggage racks so plan ahead for that. No TV in bedrooms. Kitchen had just coffee, salt, pepper, sugar which was great just plan ahead for cooking needs. Most restaurants in town are only open thurs-sun or close early but DoorDash delivered here from a little further. Laundromat was nice for long stay- they have change there but do not sell detergents. A couple cabins fairly close so bring a line for dog if they may run- there are posts on front porch and a tie off by fire pit.Great stay!"
