The stay was excellent, the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because our shower was leaking a lot of water from the ceiling seemingly whenever the room above us was showering. There is a luggage service to and from the port which is very convenient and the hotel is only about a 5-10min walk into the main town area. Overall a great stay.

Good base for 1 night stay in Hvar, if staying longer looked like it has a nice swimming pool area and bar. Breakfast was well stocked and varied. Really liked that the hotel took your cases back down to the ferry marina at the end of your stay. Wish they'd of communicated this before arriving as was a lot of steps to be pulling luggage up on arrival as hotel is at the top of the hill out of the way.

We came of the ferry so didnt drive up a steep hill would be an issue if you had mobility problems but not a proper for us ,lovely pool and bar plenty of sun loungers and good chilled out music room was sufficient clean with nice bathroom comfortable bed ,also breakfast was plentiful and loads of options ,had dinner once large portions and very tasty enjoyed my time at the pharos hotel would stay again if ever in that area.

For the price this place is great. The breakfast was good and they had lots to choose from. Staff was great. It is a bit of walk from the main ferry dock, but completely do able if you didn’t mind doing few extra steps. Only downfall we had regular patio room and the bed for two people was tiny and not very comfortable. Overall I would stay here again for the price.

Perfect hotel in Hvar

Great stay although our booking was moved to Amfora beach resort. Fabulous hotel, great pool area and the location was perfect. They even take your luggage to and from the port you just have the short walk

Great Option

We had a great stay at Pharos Hvar Bayhill. The location, just a 7 minute walk uphill on the path, above the harbor. You are rewarded with a beautiful property that is well laid out, with a clean, relaxing pool area, and expansive outside dining area off the main building, which is used, in addition to other dining, for the fantastic breakfast buffet (included). I hope to return and stay here again! Value

Very comfortable hotel, kind and helpful staff. It can get noisy because of guests coming back after midnight. Nice breakfast and drinks. Walking distance from restaurants (a little bit difficult to transport lugagge because of stairs, there is a service to transport lugagge from hotel to ferry station).

This was my 5th time in Hvar and I had always taken airbnbs, so was a little bit cautious about taking a hotel, and after reading the reviews I was a bit suspicious. However! Once we got there we could see how great this hotel was!! The rooms are small but everything else was fantastic. They could use an actual gym and a better situation for ironing clothes. I would highly recommend staying at this location and would probably stay again.

Great location however did require a bit of a climb to get to hotel. Hotel services met us at Ferry Port to take our carry-ons to and from port - which was amazing. friendly staff at check in and informative. Pool was very nice. Walking distance to center and to Fortress. Overall a great choice.
