"Room was spacious and well appointed. Staff were friendly and welcoming. On-site food all serving great choice of street food, all well priced and cooked to order. Each food vendor served beer, wine etc. Bar open till after midnight. Gift store on same site, lovely items to tempt you. Breakfast served in the cafe area, really good choice and all fresh."

"It was very neat, tidy!! Loved that it had a cooking station! Did coffee and tea every day!! Staff was not to friendly, but i found alot of Icelanders were not on the very friendly side unfortunately!"

"Quite simply, incredible. From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. The location is beautiful, clean warm spacious rooms and so very peaceful. We have travelled far and wide across many countries in many hotels and Kriunes tops the list. When we return to Iceland we will not consider anywhere else other than Kriunes. A huge thank you from my wife and I and we hope to return and live the experience all over again."
