The staff was phenomenal. Everyone was very helpful and attentive. The property and rooms were very clean. I would definitely book again.

The area is very good for walking and getting the sense of Boston. The rooms are clean and most importantly the staff is excellent.

I had stayed at Lark's Merchant hotel previously and it was great. This is not up to that standard even if it is a different type of property. It all feels tired and mismanaged. This was my fourth time staying here. Beds are so comfy! My only complaint that there is not tub or divider between the shower and the rest of the bathroom floor. The shower curtain was so short. Water just poured out of the shower and across the bathroom. There are no shelves in the shower for soap, shampoo, or a razor, and they store all of the clean towels IN the shower on a rack. I took them all out and put them on the floor and you guessed it - the overflowing shower water soaked them all. Also the bathroom could use a trash can. The "closet" armoire was all scratched up and the area to hang your clothes on hangers was tiny. Very weird. I also ordered bacon and potatoes for breakfast but they forgot my potatoes.
