The rooms are comfortable enough, although some things in the room didn't really make sense, like having an induction stove in the room but there is no induction stove cooking ware. I would also like to have two hotel key card instead of just the one they gave me during check in. "

"Our goal for our trip to Japan was to hike Mount Fuji, but one of the unexpected highlights was our stay at the Kappo Ryokan Uoichi! Post-hike, we moved from Tokyo to Osaka with a stop at the Ryokan in Shimada. Two families (eight of us) stayed at Kappo Ryokan Uoichi and had a wonderful time. The building is a 150-year-old restaurant, and the stay included a shared bedroom with eight futon beds, an adjacent family room, a private bathroom, and a shared onsen.
