Pousada Casa Amarela really is a paradise on earth. The island is amazing, of course, but this pousada has one of the best locations on the islands. Most of the other pousadas are on the other side of the road, so you have to cross to get to the beach. Casa Amarela is directly on the beach. With a perfect view of those amazing sunsets. From the three premium suites, you can step out directly to the two pools, and from there on to the beach. The pools are excellent, the long one is 27 metres, and is perfect for lap swimming. This one's not heated, but is perfect on a hot day. The round pool is heated, so is great to relax in at any time. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are lots of nice restaurants within walking distance, including many right on the beach, for more sunset views! I'd heard a lot about insects biting on Ihlabella, but for me it wasn't too bad. I used lots of spray, and although I got a few bites, they weren't any worse than other beach locations. Overall, thoroughly recommended.

Fiz a reserva pelo expedia. Não recebi e-mail de confirmação. Então liguei na pousada 3 vezes e me disseram que não havia reserva em meu nome. A expedia me cobrou a diária e diz que reservou. A pousada não responde meu e-mail solicitando estorno.

Boa localização, acomodação decepcionante
A localização da pousada é muito boa, fácil de acessar a Vila e o Perequê, está de frente para o mar. O quarto é antigo, apenas o banheiro é reformado. Chuveiro a gás funciona bem, ar condicionado ok, mas colchão muito desconfortável. A pousada é descuidada, áreas comuns com sujeira acumulada. Café da manhã muito fraco, poucas opções, coisas pré prontas, cheguei a pegar uma fatia de queijo que estava com bolor. Funcionários não receptivos, sem vontade de ajudar. Ponto positivo é ter estacionamento para todos os carros na parte interna. Não me hospedaria novamente.

Não se hospedem aí! Cheiro de esgoto nos quartos
Terrível, nunca fiquem nessa pousada. Os quartos tinham um cheiro horrível de urina e esgoto que o atendente que cuidou do check-in disse tratar-se do "cheiro da madeira dos móveis". Obviamente não era isso. A pousada deve ter um problema estrutural de esgoto ou fossa que retorna esse cheiro para os quartos. Optei por não me hospedar e agora estou tentando, sem sucesso, um reembolso. Repito, não se hospedem nessa pousada!
