"Lovely little inn in very quiet location (though easy to get to Halifax). Room was great size, good facilities, bed was comfy! We had a nice view of a sheep field. Cooked breakfast was only available Friday - Sunday, but we were provided with a little cool bag of breakfast items which was unexpected bonus. We only stayed one night for an event in Halifax, but would definitely stay again and for longer."

"On arrival had a warm welcome from the staff who asked if we wanted drinks we said yes and that we had booked 2 rooms. We were given our drinks and they would bring the room keys to us in a few minutes. "Really simplistic room done well. Some lovely little features like an ironing board tucked into the drawers, a little fridge too! The pillows were to die for and bed was comfy. Shower could do with being more powerful but that's just a personal preference. Lovely little stay in the heart of the city"

"Hollins Hall is a beautiful property and we have stayed there a few times in the past. The grounds are well maintained and the hotel offers a bar and restaurant. Our room was clean, but basic and with the usual tea and coffee options. There was no bottled water provided, which would have been appreciated, and no refrigerator. I thought the bathroom amenities were somewhat lacking compared to other hotels, but we managed with what was there. We checked out early in the morning, so I can't comment on breakfast. We did not used any of the on site facilities because we were in the area for a funeral. Hollins Hall is special in it's secluded location, and I would recommend choosing a room that has all the options you require for your stay."
