Aurora River Cabin Ivalo – Hot Tub, Sauna & Cold Plunge
- Welcome to your own private riverside in Lapland.
Step from the terrace straight onto the golden sandy shore of the Ivalo River – peace, Arctic nature and full comfort in one place. The cabin was fully renovated in autumn 2026.
THE CABIN
- 3 bedrooms (2 double beds 140 cm and a bunk bed for two) plus a sofa bed in the living room – sleeps up to 6

- Air source heat pump and electric heating, new water heater

SAUNA & WELLNESS
- Wood-heated riverside sauna
- Brand-new electric Finnish hot tub, heated for you 2 hours every day at the time you choose. Just tell us your preferred times before arrival and it will be ready exactly when you want it.
- Cold plunge pool for contrast bathing
- Renovated terrace for the hot tub and cold plunge
- Indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit
- Separate outdoor toilet next to the sauna
Every evening our own aurora projector fills the cabin walls with a northern lights show – and on clear nights from late August to April, the real northern lights can dance right above the yard.

Also included in the price: bed linen, towels, firewood for the sauna and fireplace, coffee, tea and cocoa, and daily heating of the hot tub. No hidden costs.
The property also holds rare fishing rights to the Ivalo River and nearby waters – rights no longer granted to new properties. You can fish right from the cabin with your own personal permit (state fishing fee from 6 €/day, available online or from Suutari-Seppo in Ivalo, about 6 km from the cabin).
