"House keeping told me I had to leave at 10 am when Expedia said 11 am. Very aggressive house keeping staff. Use of kitchen has electric stove but they won't use it. You have to go outside the building to use theirgas burner. Terrible condition of kicken. Asked 3 times to desk for soup to wash dishes. There is smoking in pool area and very loud at night. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"Overall, a great location to stay in the CBD. I give the food a 2.5/5, but there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. There is a self service washer and dryer, but there is only a single machine so I would suggest the hotel add at least 2 more. Two of the bartenders make great cocktails and the bar is a good location to meet locals, especially during game days."

"Comfortable Stay with Wonderful Staff I really enjoyed my stay at Kate’s Nest Guesthouse. It is a peaceful, reasonably priced guesthouse with a lovely rustic-meets-modern atmosphere. My private room was comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a refrigerator, hot water, Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and cable TV. The kitchen and housekeeping staff were wonderful, hardworking, and very helpful, and I truly appreciated their care throughout my stay. A special thank-you to Kate, the owner, who resolved an issue I had quickly and with such ease. She was responsive and made me feel that my concern was taken seriously. One small suggestion would be for the front desk to offer a little more warmth and smiling. A friendly greeting can make a big difference, especially after a long journey. Other than that, the staff were awesome. For future guests, note that "shared bathroom" means the bathroom is outside the room in the corridor. I originally booked that room type but paid to upgrade to a private room with the bathroom inside, which suited me much better. I also recommend arranging airport transportation in advance. Kate’s Nest offers airport pickup. I made my own separate arrangement with a driver who provided excellent airport transportation as well as transportation around Windhoek and made my arrival easy and stress-free. Overall, I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and would be happy to stay at Kate’s Nest again."

"Arebbusch was the perfect place to start our camping adventure in Namibia. I was really glad we chose to stay just outside the centre of Windhoek, it felt relaxed and peaceful, but a taxi into the city was quick, easy and inexpensive. The accommodation and facilities were great, but once again it was the staff who really stood out. Friendly, helpful and welcoming at every turn, they made everything feel easy from the moment we arrived. A brilliant, good-value base in Windhoek and the perfect place to begin and end a Namibian road trip."
