I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. "We had a very special experience of the stay. Very convenience going to Cabot Trail and the national park. Friendly attitude and timely response. The natural environment was great with ocean, stars and the green views. However, please be mindful of the mosquitos and please adjust your expectations of the furniture/equipment considering the locations of the place. "

"It was a simple but adequate and clean little cabin. Even to shared facilities were clean and not at all unpleasant until the shared composting toilet started to emit a very unpleasant smell. "This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. The bed was great and having a coffee on the front deck was a great way to start the day. Thank you to the hosts! Cheers @EddieMac75 "

"This resort has yurts and domes as well as rooms in the lodge. The yurts and domes do not have their own baths. The lodge rooms where we were did. The room had a double bed and a single. The double was quite comfortable, the single not so much. Our room was on the bottom floor. There was a restaurant attached and the option to have a package with breakfast and dinner. Though we didn't have the package we did eat a breakfast and a couple of dinners. The food was excellent. They have music on Thursday and Saturday nights. We were there on Thursday. There was a Cape Britton traditional music group that was wonderful. There is a trail to a bay of the ocean. It is really quite nice. A combination of camping and lodge resort. It was one of the few places we stayed that had air conditioning and as it worked out was also the only time it was needed"
