"Update from my original review: I did speak with the district area manager, who was very professional, understanding, and took the time to listen to my concerns. I truly appreciated that level of professionalism. That being said, my experience at Kompose Residences Houston Cy-Fair was disappointing overall. The property is aesthetically pleasing and definitely looks great for social media, but beyond that, the hotel lacked functionality and convenience. The elevators were either completely broken or working intermittently during my stay. Watching elderly guests walk around trying to find a working elevator was honestly heartbreaking. I personally had to carry all of my luggage up flights of stairs. The hotel policies also added to the frustration. I requested fresh towels and was told I had to bring my dirty towels downstairs first. I have never experienced that at any hotel. The ice machines didn’t work, and even pool towels had to be requested from the front desk. While the rooms are decent and the common areas look beautiful, this hotel simply did not provide the level of comfort or service I expected. Had there been flexibility with the strict no-refund policy, I would have checked out early and stayed elsewhere. Overall: beautiful appearance, disappointing experience."

"Great stay"

"I have a nice room until I got up to go to the restroom and found cockroaches in the bathroom. I killed 4 through the night in the bathroom. I killed on small on that got on the bend. I could not sleep and had no way to leave without transportation. I called front desk and complained and requested my money back. The front desk they would report this to the manager to see what could be done about my stay since I could not sleep. It was just gross. "

"Property is really outdated! 1st day housekeeping did the bare minimum. I stayed but never really felt comfortable."

"I was very pleasantly surprised according to the price. The place was pretty nice. Rooms were clean. Beds were nice. Cool little bar to chill at with some good drinks. Staff was awesome. It was very close to IAH and parking spots. I’m assuming they prob have pretty good food. I left too early. I will def stay again."
