Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach

6/10 Okay

"Bed was horrible. Need another bathroom on the main floor and keep it clean. Need a bathroom exhaust fan in the bathroom of the hotel room. Need a bowl brush for toilet. Front staff was courteous. 15$ a day to self park??? Was not in the information when I booked. This was outrageous."

"The beds are a bit firm for my taste but the experience was awesome. Staff was so nice and helpful. The drinks are on point and the restaurant is very good. I recommend the pork belly banh mi for lunch. In late May, it is nice and quiet on the beach. The pool was never overcrowded and the chair rental for the beach was extremely affordable."

"It was a very quiet clean well equipped room. Location was excellent. There is a nice wooded area to connect with nature & walk my service dog. The man at the reception desk was very helpful, friendly &. welcoming. Some of the women at the front desk were not so friendly but did their job. The maintenance man was very helpful & professional. The house keeping lady also was very kind & accommodating. I did have a problem with the laundry. It was very dark with no light. I was trying to dry my clothes & put the $2.50 in the dryer. However my clothes were as wet as when I put them in. All in all I would stay here again & have done so many time previously."

"Pool area is amazing!! Everything is great and beautiful! But just to use all the amenities it is better to stay at the main tower, not at the Lodge. I booked the room at Lodge just because I wanted to have a better view of the ocean (so I booked an ocean view). That was the only reason! To open the patio door and see the beach! My room ended up being facing the dumpster, and a tent that they have on the side of the property, the entrance of the parking lot… and I could barely see a little bit of the ocean far away on the side. We didn’t say anything about it because they helped us with early check in so we could have lunch at the restaurant there. Plus the room cleanliness is not the same as the tower, we found some housekeeping issues. So I would go back to the property but to the main tower only!"
