Staff was friendly and professional. Room was nice except it had a stale smoke scent. Since we arrived very late at night didn't request a change. Parking was well lit and felt safe arriving late at night . Nice variety for breakfast.

After a horrible stay at Super 8 this was a welcome difference in location and amenities,room was clean hotel was clean staff was great and I would definitely recommend the Wingate for sure,and alot of food and shopping options in the area as well.

My stay was overall really good! The room was very clean, plenty of space, smelled nice & the breakfast was good. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. My only issues would be that the bubbles in the hot tub didn’t work very well. I definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed here for our GenCon convention trip, and it was very convenient! We really enjoyed the breakfast before heading over, and the drive was about 20 minutes to the convention, so you definitely need a rental car if you are flying in! The amenities and main parts of the hotel were great and very clean, but our room definitely needed some love. There was some permanent staining on the couches, walls, and carpet. It was excessively humid, to the point that clothes we hung brought out of our suitcase were damp to the touch overnight. The carpet near the air conditioner was also damp, so we think that was the reason. We gave the feedback to the front desk for them to fix the room, and they were very receptive to the feedback to fix these things!

The employees were extremely kind and helpful. The free breakfast was also very nice! The hotel is located just minutes from the airport so it made our early flight very convenient! The room was nice but had some obvious wear and tear. The bedding appeared very nice and clean. The carpet and furniture had stains. There was also what appeared to be water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom as the pain was bubbling up with a small hole in the middle. With a little TLC, I think this could continue to be a wonderful hotel!

We only stayed here one night. There was multiple issues with maintenance. There was an outlet, not covered that the air conditioner was plugged into the door did not lock. There was patches on the wall where they had fixed holes in the wall, but never fixed it all the way we only had one towel in our room for a party of three there were stains on the carpet, the bathtub had peeling all over it and the room smelled really musty. I would’ve asked for a different room however we rented three rooms for our whole party and they were all the same way. I’m thankful we only stayed here one night. The lady at the check-in desk was super nice however we use the shuttle in the morning to get to the Airport and the man that drove. It was not so friendly in the morning. He did do our return shuttle back to the hotel to get our cars and he was friendly at that time overall I feel giving this hotel three stars was very generous. I truly only wanted to give it one or two stars. Kudos to the front desk lady as she is the reason why I gave them more stars.
