"What can I say... this was by far our best trip to County Clare yet. My family and I have been to Clare many times, and this was by far the best location, and best setup Cottage we've used. Ann is great from a communication prospective, and everything in the cottage is well appointed. The presence of a natural peat fireplace was a real plus, as I enjoy the ambiance tremendously. "My family of six stayed here after st. Patrick’s Day. It’s the perfect location to see the cliffs of Moher. The view from the cottage itself is absolutely stunning. The cottage is beautiful outside and inside with new floors and furnishings. It’s extremely comfortable and cozy. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"Very picturesque location by the sea with sheep and friendly cows grazing nearby. The home is spacious with plenty of baths and room to stretch out. Landlords are friendly and welcoming. We had great weather for day trips to Clifden, Roundstone and Galway. A lovely home away from home."

"Pros: - beautiful interior design has a luxurious yet cozy feel - warm and comfy, a great getaway from the winter storms outside - walls of windows make for an amazing view - all the amenities you need for your stay (we cooked, made coffee, listened to music on their Bluetooth speaker, took a bath) - short walk/drive to a convenience store/gas station - finding it was easy with Google maps (but there’s no signage otherwise) Cons - none! It’s lovely!"

"It is a fantastic cottage with an ocean view that can rarely be achieved. If you like an environment where you can only hear the singing of birds, the whistling of the wind and the noise of the sea, this is the right place. Ann, the person in charge of the house, will do everything possible to make sure you are happy to be there, available 24/7 if you require anything. "Spiddal Cottage was delightful! Both rooms were spacious, the living room was lovely, the kitchen small but with all the necessary appliances. We didn't ever cook there, so I can't say anything about the pots, pans, spices, etc. The mattresses were quite firm. Bring your own entertainment if you want to watch something. The wifi worked great and we had access to the washing machine, which was very nice. Patsy was accommodating and super nice! The area was stunning, and a great place for a ferry...

Only a short drive to gorgeous beaches when you turn right heading to roundstone and left towards ballyconneely. The house was really comfortable and well equipped.
