"We had a lovely stay at the Acadia house in late August. The weather was great and the area was very quiet and peaceful. The host was very easy to contact and offered swift replies. The house was very clean. There were some musty smells coming from the basement but we steered clear, and didn't notice it most of the time in the main living areas. (Would be nice to be able to close that back utility room area to stop curious little feet from exploring...perhaps a baby gate at the top of basement steps?)Super appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the scent free soaps and shampoos. We also really appreciated the use of the washer and dryer and hypoallergenic laundry soap. Was a little disappointed to not find camp chairs for the fire pit or a hammock out on the lawn, as advertised in the listing, but the lounge chair and rockers on the back porch made up for it! Little things like charging cables in the main rooms and bedrooms and children's books/training potty/high chair were very welcomed. Lovely accessible beach within 3 minute drive. We would return!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a magical time at this quaint cottage on beautiful Lake Michigan. The location is spectacular with access to miles of shoreline and just a short drive from downtown Arcadia and several local attractions. The management company was helpful and responsive. We have been here several times and will keep coming back again and again!"

"This was the perfect cottage for our getaway. The house is just a 30 step, very stable stairway down to a nice beach and the lake. The cottage was clean, well stocked for cooking, and cozy. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves. Mercedes was a very communicative host!"

"I Loved the little one bedroom we stayed in. It was comfortable and had a little kitchen. We really enjoyed using the hot tub, cold plunge and sauna!The town is not big...but that's what we loved! We enjoyed dinner at the ketch22 and kayak to the lighthouse and sat on the beach until sunset. Absolutely wonderful way to spend our anniversary"

"We really liked everything about this stay. The host was accommodating and very responsive, and the property itself is beautiful — surrounded by trees and nature. It's only 3 minutes from Arcadia's sunset overlook, which has a gorgeous beach, and it's a short drive to the dunes, especially Sleeping Bear Dunes. Highly recommend!"
