"An absolute gem for a family stay! I stayed here last night with my family, and we had a fantastic and comfortable experience. The rooms are spotless, the hospitality is warm, and the entire atmosphere is wonderfully welcoming for families. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Addis Ababa. Thank you for the wonderful service!"

"Staff is very friendly and accommodating."

"Great stay"

"Clean room, great staff and plenty of shopping around"

"Polite, attentive, and exceptional all around! For me, excellent service and politeness are the most important things when traveling, and Elger Hotel and Spa exceeded every expectation. The service here is truly world-class, and everything else about the hotel is exceptional. From our late arrival to the breakfast team, room service, and the bar staff making cocktails for my partner and me, every single staff member was incredibly polite and attentive. They immediately helped with everything,...

"The stay was good. It could have had more staffing to improve communication and organization."

"Good medium pension. People are very friendly. You can use the kitchen to cook. They prepare coffee (buna) and thee ( shay) for everybody. If you need a service out of the pension, they can assist you. "

"Listen. I've always stayed here when i traveled to Addis Ababa. For the last 4yrs. And mainly because of the staff. House cleaning(burtukan), kitchen(Abdul), front desk(asfar). And it is a few others. But as far as the owner or owners of the property. They have done absolutely no upgrades. Even more so, they haven't fixed anything that had has broken or gotten old. From the ceilings in bathrooms, the bathtubs, the handles on the windows, replacing the mattresses, installing better light bulbs,...

"Very good value for the price. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, fine location. Airport shuttle available. Breakfast included, could have more items, the staff added dishes without extra charge."

"Breakfast choice was very good & restaurant staff lovely."

"The location is great if you know your way around Addis, some staff members really makes an effort to make your stay pleasant while some are outright rude and hostile. I was not able to use the GYM area on the weekend as they do not allow customers staying in the hotel to use the facilities on weekends, the lady looking after the facility gave me a very rude speech about the rules being the rules. Overall there are better options for the price and I would not recommend the place."

"Welcoming, helpful staff. Good to pay at the hotel rather than online."

"The hotel was close to my place of work, so I could walk rather than having to confront traffic jams. The hotel staff was friendly, which made up for the absence of a shower, and the intermittent Internet connection."
