APA Hotel Keisei Ueno Ekimae
10/10 Excellent
"This year area feels less foreign touristy and more local touristy. But you get access to all the same arcades, great dining options, themed cafés without all the tourist crowds."
"Super friendly staff & great family stay option with small child. All the extras they have available for babies and small children, was incredible. Would highly recommend and stay here again on next visit to Japan with family."
"Great economic hotel. As any other hotel in Tokyo with the same amenities is small but comfortable. Still, you get all the services from a high end hotel. Very good located and accessible. "
"Just a minute or two walk to multiple subway lines made this a very convenient place to stay. Staff was nice and friendly. The rooms are small but that was to be expected as they are in most Tokyo Hotels. We were surprised to find there was a laundry room with two machines. They were washer/dryer combo machines but the dryer didn’t work all that well. If you have a normal size load, (more than 5 or 6 articles of clothing) you’ll likely need extra drying time. Room was clean and they cleaned every day if needed. Nice view of Tokyo skytree from upper levels and nice nature sounds in the hallways. The 2 elevators sometimes took a while due to the number of floors they were covering. The check in desk was on the second floor and there was a cafe on the first floor that had a couple decent breakfast options. Enjoyed staying here and would stay again. "
