"This accommodation met my expectations and more. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was interesting and pleasant. On this visit for skiing I was fortunate to have few people in adjacent rooms. There were good kitchen utensils and everything worked well. The bathroom underfloor heating was a welcome bonus as the bathroom could also be used as an airing room for ski clothes. Dining at breakfast on the lake was enjoyable, with everything available a person might hope to eat for a day on the snow. The location had good access to the SkiTube which helped obtain full value from lift passes and skiing time on the mountains."

"Chez Jean is an excellent choice for anyone skiing at Perisher Valley. The location is outstanding, providing easy access to the ski fields and making it convenient to return after a day on the slopes. The unit is beautifully appointed, comfortable, and very well equipped. Communication with the host was excellent throughout, with prompt and helpful responses. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.Thank you, Linda."

"We had a very comfortable stay. Booking both this unit and the adjacent studio gave us plenty of space, and the kitchen was impressively large. The mountain views were beautiful, and we loved seeing kangaroos and deer right in the backyard. The upstairs rooms did get warm during the day because of the weather, but the fans helped, and the air‑conditioning downstairs made that area very comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the resort and using the pool and spa. Communication with the hosts was excellent — they responded quickly and were very helpful. We’d definitely return."
