"We’ve stayed at some pretty nice vacation houses, but this place takes the cake. It’s set right on the border of Joshua Tree National Park, with no close neighbors and our back yard looks like a park itself. I basically chose this location after seeing the pictures of the pool surrounded by massive rocks. The owner Dale gave us a great tour when we arrived showing us all the history, artwork and personal artifacts that decorate the house. Definitely not your average white washed vacation rental. He really put his heart and soul into this place. Every room is full of character, painted in tones of orange and plum with baroque decor. Definitely the perfect place to relax and recharge."

"This place is perfect for 2 people! it’s 2 minutes from the park entrance, has a great view, and the jacuzzi and fire pit are perfect for stargazing. We loved our stay, will definitely be coming back soon!"

"Lovely cabin surrounded by gorgeous cactus gardens, privacy, and beautiful desert oasis views. The cabin had everything we needed, was in a perfect location, was quiet, and was perfectly clean and comfortable. I loved how it was decorated too. Susan was great in her responses to our questions about the area. I would highly recommend this VRBO. "

"This is a stunning property. It’s so comfortable, warm, and the location incredible. We saw amazing wildlife including road runners and the sunrise from the garden was spectacular. The hot tub was a lovely bonus that made the evening very relaxing. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Host communication was fantastic "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Maya for our family vacation. The home was exactly as described - clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals, and the living space was perfect for family eating and relaxing. The bedrooms were comfortable and the younger people loved having their own space in the casita. Pool and spa was a big plus. The game room was a huge hit, and kept everyone together with nothing but fun. Location was close to local attractions, grocery stores and restaurants. The Fieldtrip Host staff were perfect! Always answered back immediately. I will definitely stay again. "

"My family of 5 stayed in the Zenith home for five days in June while on vacation. This home was immaculately clean and honestly looks brand new. Everything inside is very modern, down to the whole-home sound system (which we loved).Communication with the host was beyond excellent with VERY quick response times. This was important, as the first floor air conditioning was not working when we arrived. This issue was promptly resolved within 24 hours, and I never needed to contact the host for any issues after this was resolved.The home is located in between the West and North entrances to Joshua Tree National Park. This was very convenient for us, as we hiked in the Park every day on our stay.Without a doubt, we would all stay in this home the next time we visit the Park!"

"The property was great for our young family to rest and relax after a few long days in the National Park. The house is just a short drive into several park entrances. The pool was a great way to cool off after a hot day hiking in the park and the game room kept the kids entertained at night. "

"Overall, the house is beautiful, and the location is great—quiet, with an outstanding view of the stars at night. The mattresses were the best I’ve experienced compared to all my stays at hotels and vacation rentals. The only complaint I have is the unfinished closet in the master bedroom."
