"We’ve stayed at some pretty nice vacation houses, but this place takes the cake. It’s set right on the border of Joshua Tree National Park, with no close neighbors and our back yard looks like a park itself. I basically chose this location after seeing the pictures of the pool surrounded by massive rocks. The owner Dale gave us a great tour when we arrived showing us all the history, artwork and personal artifacts that decorate the house. Definitely not your average white washed vacation rental. He really put his heart and soul into this place. Every room is full of character, painted in tones of orange and plum with baroque decor. Definitely the perfect place to relax and recharge."

"The view!! Wow! Very clean. Plenty of towels for bath and pool. Comfortable beds. Can't beat location for Joshua Tree NP. Jenny (host) responded immediately to texts. Check in and out a breeze. "Lovely cabin surrounded by gorgeous cactus gardens, privacy, and beautiful desert oasis views. The cabin had everything we needed, was in a perfect location, was quiet, and was perfectly clean and comfortable. I loved how it was decorated too. Susan was great in her responses to our questions about the area. I would highly recommend this VRBO. "

"This is a stunning property. It’s so comfortable, warm, and the location incredible. We saw amazing wildlife including road runners and the sunrise from the garden was spectacular. "We had a wonderful stay at the Maya for our family vacation. The home was exactly as described - clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals, and the living space was perfect for family eating and relaxing. The bedrooms were comfortable and the younger people loved having their own space in the casita. Pool and spa was a big plus. The game room was a huge hit, and kept everyone together with nothing but fun. Location was close to local attractions, grocery stores and restaurants. The Fieldtrip Host staff were perfect!
